Accepted into nursing school at 17, graduated and passed boards at 19. Worked in Birmingham for a year, moved to Seattle and worked for 10 months. Now gone to the "warmer weather" of AZ. And she's the ripe old age of 21. I will be flying out to see her in 3 weeks, and I am so excited to see her. (It's been 4 months!) Prayerfully, she will be working some of those days!LOL :redbeathe
She was a young H.S. grad. She took dual enrollment during her high school career and also attended a Health Studies program at the trade school. (She had already seen a c-sec and vag delivery by the time she was 16) She applied with a new nursing program at a junior college, and they took her straight in. (She had all the pre-reqs.) And on top of it all she went to the college on an Athletic Scholarship! I told y'all this was one AMAZING nurse. But she needs a job now. hahaha
now thattt. i dont know. because i dont even know what a banner state is =) buttt i can tell you that a lot of hospitals especially the texas health system (presbyterian etc) are hiring new grads, so i know that she could possibly get one there. the tenet healthcare system (lake pointe, cent. medical, etc) are hiring BAYLOR..the list goes on. all of the hospitals are hiring. and a lot you dont need too much experience.
I'm sorry I haven't replied. I had an urgency in Memphis and was gone a couple of days. Prettyladie, thanks for the info, I passed it on to my daughter and she was interested! She was supposed to find out about licensure in TX today. And raidermom, I'm glad to hear your friend is home, I pray that she has continued recovery.
