Hello Nurses,
I qualifed 2015 and i remember going on a MT placement and labour ward placement but not peads placement but lectures on peads. I currently work IN ED and i am required to work in peads and have i been sent on various training on peads. I also care for Pregnant women everytime. So my question is will i be able to use those hours if i am
short of hours instead of going back to university?
thank you

If you can get copies of transcripts to show hours spent on the courses the BON may accept them

I would say why re invent the wheel...many UK/EU nurses on here have done this transfer successful and shared their stories on here. Follow their recipe and soon you will be enjoying the American pie. It is a long process that involves waiting, patience, perseverance and more waiting on steroids;) .... either way Good Luck!
what we see very regularly with UK Nurses is a deficiency in Obstetrics and/or Paeds due to how training has been done for over a decade. Some universities will include Paeds but not always Obstetrics due to the UK training of midwives
Thank u for the reply, i started this post cos i couldnt see any post about UK Nurses
