Susie2310 2,114 Posts May 22, 2019 I believe there are around 3 million nurses in the US so there's a good chance that many people have had contact with a nurse at some time in their lives (if not as a patient, their family member, friend, etc.), who demonstrated ethics/honesty. I think the fact that we have a "Nurses Code of Ethics" carries some weight with the general public. I do think though that in terms of the survey it's all relative.
