Hello, I am taking my second to the last class right now and just passed the school's FNP exit exam. The school encouraged me to take the exam during my last class which is in 5 weeks from now. I heard that the AANP or ANCC won't release the score to the school or mail out to the student's house until the official transcript of all classes are completed. However, I am wondering if the TESTING CENTER will give the student the PRINT OUT result "passed or not passed" on the same day?

you can take the AANP before you graduate & they will give you print out at testing center, but you won't get official certification until you graduate. ANCC will not let you test until after you graduate & they receive your final official transcript. So, there's no way to take that one before you graduate.
Thank you for your reply. Did you experience it yourself or where could you find that information? I asked my FNP program director and other professors at school regarding if the testing site would give me the print-out, but they weren't too sure either. I really don't want to take the test if I have to wait for 2 whole months for my result to mail home. That would be an everyday torture for me! :)
