Hi! I took A+P at Quincy College last summer and I found it to be pretty easy as long as you do your readings, and study the labeled figures in your book. My professor gave us study guides to follow along with during class, and as long as you studied those well you could do well on the tests. We also had online quizzes before each class, which were about 10 questions each and also manageable. The professor I had was extremely helpful and understanding, and offered tutoring to students who were struggling. I learned more in A+P at Quincy College than I did in a previous Physiology course at a 4-year university that was much more expensive. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask, and good luck in your course this summer! :)
I took all my pre-reqs at Quincy. The classes are very good. A&P in the summer will be hard if you're shooting for an "A". I took A&P I in the summer and I was studying at least 2-4 hours per day just for that class. Just read and quiz yourself constantly, and set plenty of time aside to study.
I tool A+P 1 and 2 at QC and both were great classes. Took menard for ap 1 lecture but took trespalcios for both labs and the lecture component of 2 in 2013. I have never ever ever taken a class where I still to this day can recall so much information from. people often look at QC as just another community college but the professors in the science and nursing classes are top notch, even better than some other schools I've been to (and I've been to 3 other universities/colleges).
Use the study guides and read the book, even if you skim it the night before class you'll feel so much better prepared and be able to recall topics in class and lecture. And get the textbook online, do NOT pay for it! I never bought a text book at QC, they use Pearson so you can usually find PDF's for free. I have the copy for micro and a+p if you need it, but I think they changed versions for the a+p book.

Hi all,
I'll be taking Anatomy & Physiology I and II at Quincy College during summer session 1 and 2. I'll be working full time as well and wanted to see if anyone had any advice for me. Has anyone taken A & P at QC before?
