Anatomy & Physiology I/II Summer 2013

Published

Anyone taking A&P I or II during the summer? I attend a university in Maryland but live in New York so taking a summer class here would be costly with housing so my first plan was to just take A&P I at another university but they told me if I take the first one at another university, I need to take the second one there which makes sense. It wasn't my plan but you gotta do what you gotta do. Anyone else taking this class during the summer?

Just took my last exam before the final in my lecture class. I think I did well, but will update shortly after he grades the scantrons!

I'm having a very hard time also in this 5 week class. I can't study as much as I need to, because I have a baby, toddler and teenager. I am really contemplating on giving up. This fast past class is more for a single person with no kids :(

I ended up with a 92! Just need a 85 on my final for an a :)

I know I don't have 3, but I have an 8 month old who's teething and starting to crawl so I have my hands are pretty full as well! I just had to find the time to study, usually a few hours after baby's bedtime. Also I brought my flash cards everywhere with me and studied them while pumping gas, in line at the store, or in traffic. I also recorded lectures and listened to them on my commute. You CAN do it, just set your mind to it!

What is the best way to study for bones in A&P 1

I also have a 7 month old and a 2.5 year old. I just have to make the time to study. It feels like I'm ALWAYS studying. Before they wake up, nap time, bed time, and I may pop on a movie and study during it. I also have flash cards for down time at work. It's a lot of work but it's paying off, after getting 100 on my histology exam I hold the highest grade in the class (for now). I have NO time for myself. The only reason I'm even on the computer now is because I'm going over power points. :dead:

My skeletal system practical is tuesday, the bones them self are easy enough to memorize. I printed out the skeleton and carry it with me everywhere. As far as the bony markings, articulations and such, I plan to stay in lab monday night until I get them all down.

I'm taking A&P 2 at University of Arkansas. Loving it! I got accepted into the fast track RN and will be starting this Fall. :)

well i just had my first lab yesterday, and my A is so so solid for now,i hope i keep it all the way, three more weeks lol.

Hi memphismom! You are doing amazing! How many weeks is your class?! Please share with me your study methods. I'm having a hard time remembering everything from both lab and lecture in such short amount of time. I'm studying day and night!!! Thanks :)

Start an 8 week a&p 2 class tomorrow. Time to buckle down!

I'm in basic life science bio right now. Anatomy starts in a few weeks right after this ends. I just picked up the book tonight and it looks a lot harder, but a couple of people I've talked to made it seem like it wasn't as hard as I'm thinking it'll be. Guess I'll find out soon enough.
