Has anyone ever gotten a job from this agency? If so, I have a couple of questions. How does the process work? Does the company interview you prior to linking you with a job? Did you have a good or bad experience with them? Any responses would be helpful! thanks!

I was hired September 2009 per diem. When they were happy with me they hired me for full time in November. I went to one of their open houses. They gave me a phone number and I scheduled a time for an interview.
Initially they didn't have an opening for me, but I kept on calling every week for about 3 months until they had an opening. The pay is great, but they don't have a union. I have been there since.
This company specializes in the psychiatric community, so make sure you like to work with the mentally ill.

I went to an open house. The HR really "liked" me. I was called for an interview for a CM HMO. First interview, I didn't have the chance to meet with the "lady" because she didn't show up, I was told this after waiting for 3 hrs. Then they called me to come back. Showed up for this second interview, just to be told that the position has been filled and "she" doesn't know where the confusion came from.
I went home frustrated and upset. Thought it was a little disorganized on their part.

Sorry to hear that you had to go through that, I had a similar experience with this company!
I was also told the spot had been filled, but I didn't give up and kept calling every 2 weeks until another spot opened. Also, If you apply first as per diem, you have a greater chance, because first they want to see how good you are before hiring for full time.
nurse32: I see you are working for them now. In my case, just a little background, I don't have any nursing experience and still haven't found a job since graduation (2 yrs.). Anyway, I haven't called them back yet. Maybe in a week or two.
Do they train? If so, would you recommend it or someone who doesn't have a nursing experience?
Thanks!

My interview was done in a room with three employees at their computer that were easily able to listen to my interviewer tell me all the reasons why she was not going to hire me. This is after literally one minute of skimming over my resume and asking me three questions. Not to mention the fact that she was eating a bagel and taking phone calls during the interview. Quite easily the most unprofessional/ bizarre interview I've ever had.
Wow! We had the same exact interview, after weeks of waiting on going back and forth, I was told after my first unprofessional interview that I had a choice of two positions that were open, but they needed me to come in for a second interview because they forgot to ask me for my referral. On they second interview I waited for over an hour before I was even seen by someone totally different than I was told I would speak with and I was grilled like I stole something, and told "they need to make sure I won't waste their time if they hire me", huh?? Why are you wasting my time I should of asked them. Haven't heard from them since and even though I'm in desperate need of a job, I think things worked out for the best by them not giving me a position.
Nurse201007: Yeah! I don't think I would call them again either. Maybe it's for the best that I didn't get the job. I find their operation disorganized and a bit impersonal. We maybe desperate for a job, but our TIME is also important and should be considered.
Yup! You are so right! Although we want a job, we still deserve respect!

Oh wow, I had an interview there a few months ago too. The interviewer didn't even look at me as he was asking me questions, and kept answering his phone during the interview. Then never contacted me back regarding whether or not they were interested in hiring me. Very unprofessional facility. Worst interview environment for me thus far!
