So I received my acceptance letter, and total, I will be out about $12000 for my BSN through them.
I feel that this will be the best route for me, and is by far a cheaper route.
On top of that, I don't have to take ANY classes other than the BSN classes that I need. That's right, no additional Gen Eds, no statistics and no unneeded classes.
I am really excited, and will be starting April 1! :)

Their “campus” is around the corner from the hospital I work at and I would still never go to that diploma mill.
Thankfully, I have thick skin so other's opinions cease to bother me LOL. Just finished my first class and wasn't that different from the competitive program for my BSN at UIC. It was ALOT of work, alot of studying and many late nights like any other class I've taken and my degree will cost at least 1/2 what most other programs cost. You get out of it what you put in. To each his own. Have a blessed day!

I learned a long time ago to ignore people OES, especially on this forum. I've been on here a long time, and I've never seen as much snobiness as I've witnessed when coming to this forum. Believe me, there's alot of them on here- it's not really the most supportive forum to be on but it does have it's positives and there are some really nice and supportive folks here. Do what's best for you and get the most out of your program no matter where you choose to go!!
I know this thread is old but am looking for more insight on this program. I currently work full time as an RN (ADN). I am looking to go back to school and am looking for a RN-BSN-FNP program, all online, and for a decent price. This program seems to check all the boxes, especially now that they're nationally and regionally accredited.
How are the classes? How are the instructors? Which path did you take (term based or SIM path based) and why? Any advice for success? Looking forward to your replies ?
Hi. I transferred to American Sentinel from Ashworth College d/t they discontinued their BSN program. I started April 20,2020.The program is not bad. A lot of writing for me because I would rather write than do a power point or voice video. I've only had the one instructor. She's pretty good. I'm on my 2nd class. I have 5 more to go. Hope to be finished by Sept. The price was hard to beat. They offer Military discount & they have Academic parters that they give discounts. The Hospital I work for is one of their academic partners so I got a discount. I had applied to Capella who is an Academic partner with my employer as well. Their Flex Path program is 12 weeks per semester where as American Sentinel is 16 weeks per semester & $500.00 cheaper. So I actually saved money as well as gained more time per semester. They don't require an abstract or an authors note & they use APA 7the edition. They use turnit in for assignment submissions. You get one chance to submit an assignment, but if you go by the Gold collum on the rubric you will be fine. So far I have all A's on my assignments. I really like the program & my academic advisor is awesome. You can sign up for a conference. you will be on the call with several students they explain their program to you and answer all of your questions. I think you will like it.... I do ❤ I hope this helps. Best Wishes.
I failed to mention I am in the SimPath program. I love working at my own pace. ?

Thanks so much for your insight! I just signed up and start the Sim Path BSN program on June 15th with the goal to finish it in 6 months and try to get in to their FNP program next year! Best of luck to you!

I know this is an older thread but thought I'd comment in case anyone was looking for information about American Sentinel. They are now regionally accredited
