American River College Spring 2016

Hello! I have been looking for a thread for ARC for Spring 2016 and have yet to see one so decided to start one myself! Anyone applying for ARC's ADN program for Spring 2016 that want to share any questions or concerns while we wait for acceptance letters? This is my 5th time applying and am really hoping this is my lucky semester!

Now I am starting to feel like I did not get accepted this time again, because there is just few more days left till deadline and still no answers. I also keep on wondering what is taking so long for the applicants to be selected...

Looking back on the Fall 2015 blog, it looks like acceptance letters went out on Tuesday of the 8th week, that would be tomorrow for us! I don't know what's taking so long, I wish we could get our answers and stop wondering!

Yep, I already mapped that out too. It's that tiny fear that the letters went out and nobody here got accepted that nags at me. I have another friend that applied and she hasn't heard anything either. I really wish they would just pick a day and say you will be notified on X date. At least it is better than Sierra where you don't get notified at all if you get rejected.

I agree with you that they need to set one date for announcements. It's so unnecessarily painful like this! I know that about Sierra, sucks. SCC doesn't even update your eservices to application qualified. They keep it at Application Received the whole time.

Nope, really feeling discouraged, I'm going to force myself to not check until 3:30 p.m. I don't know why I have that time in my head as THE TIME, but I do.

I have a terrible nagging feeling that I'm probably not in. We are SO close to the deadline for notices to go out. I just can't see any positive chance that they will send out acceptances this late. I'm dreading the email this week that will probably say, "sorry you didn't get in, try again next time".

Still nothing here as well. Agh, this is driving me nuts, seriously the wait is forever. I cant think about anything else.

I'm feeling that way too =/ I hope it is today, and not Friday...3 more days of this would be torturous!

If I get accepted, I would decline it. So anyone one the alternate list, for sure have a chance.
