American River College Spring 2016

Hello! I have been looking for a thread for ARC for Spring 2016 and have yet to see one so decided to start one myself! Anyone applying for ARC's ADN program for Spring 2016 that want to share any questions or concerns while we wait for acceptance letters? This is my 5th time applying and am really hoping this is my lucky semester!

I just spoke to the nursing department, acceptance letters have NOT gone out yet, she didn't specify when they will be going out. There's still hope!!

If I get accepted, I would decline it. So anyone one the alternate list, for sure have a chance.

Yes, I did. I start doing all docs, paid the background check. So it is no sense for me to keep waiting, since I have to move for either one. Good luck all! Hopefully they notify in couple days!

Thank you so much for letting us know that. Ok future RN's we can do this. We have already waited 7.5 weeks and three more days is nothing (even though they are the hardest ones)!!

Doesn't look like any letters, accept or reject, have gone out yet. Why do they do things so differently every single semester?? I want to be strong enough to just not check until Friday but I've been so impatient.

I even check after hours jsut incase they will surprise us or maybe the system was busy sending letters. We have few more days we can totally do this. I think it will be Thursday..., but ether way in three more days or sooner we will know for sure!!!!!!!!!!

Is it unhealthy that I check randomly through the night since I'm a light sleeper?? Lol I think so. I never get notifications that people post on here so of course the first thing my brain wants to do at 4 a.m. Is refresh this site.. Cause you know maybe somebody got accepted during the night and I didn't :( The letters of acceptance or rejection can't come soon enough, I'm losing it! lol

I feel the same way! It is probably considered unhealthy if it's causing us all to feel sick! I'm seriously feeling sick to my stomach thinking the worst thoughts. I think this is how ulcers start...
