American River College fall 2018 hopefuls

I didn't see a thread for this semester, so I started one. I'm applying now. Taking the TEAS in a couple of weeks and submitting everything right after. It's my first time applying. I am really nervous! I am honestly not gonna get my hopes up because I know people going on their 5th time applying, so that's a little demoralizing. I am considering Sac City and USF Sac campus as well, but I would rather not graduate with a ton of debt from a private school.

How is everybody doing?

My status still displays received as well. I turned my application in the last day late in the afternoon.

I think I was like 224....I can't remember. 200 something

I dropped of the first week, I was #8 and still hasn't updated to qualified...im not really worried about just waiting...goa was 4.0 TEAS was 81%

they are still going through them and it just takes a while to make sure everyone is qualified. I was told to just keep checking your account daily and they would update as soon as they got to my file. They said if they had already seen my classes before and approved them then they may approve them without the petition but wouldn't know until they got to my file. Idk what order they are going in but my last name starts with an M and mine was received 2/27.

My status with ARC changed this evening from received to qualified. I turned in my application on February 26th and I was #178. My status has not changed with Sac City, where I turned my app in on the same date and was #88. I'm trying desperately not to check my email every 5 minutes....I wish the best of luck to everyone!! í ½í¸Š

Mine changed to qualified tonight too. I turned mine in on the 27th and I was number 201. Hope this helps. Not sure what type of order they are going in, but hopefully they will finish soon. I imagine the random selection part should go quickly. Good luck everyone!

Only 88 students have applied on the 26th? Probably only about 200 have applied at scc including mail in applications. I think people have more chance getting accepted at scc

I turned in my application the 28th at noon and I was number 250 or something like that. I'm sure a bunch of people waited till last minute and tuned it in that evening so I'm gonna guess like 300...

Hi NACB! Did you also submit your applications to Sierra and SCC on the 28th? If so, what number were you when you turned it in?

I didn't, Christinet08. I only did ARC this time. I'll do everywhere next time if I don't get in. A lot of things are up in the air right now for me, so I need school to be near by.
