American River College fall 2018 hopefuls

I didn't see a thread for this semester, so I started one. I'm applying now. Taking the TEAS in a couple of weeks and submitting everything right after. It's my first time applying. I am really nervous! I am honestly not gonna get my hopes up because I know people going on their 5th time applying, so that's a little demoralizing. I am considering Sac City and USF Sac campus as well, but I would rather not graduate with a ton of debt from a private school.

How is everybody doing?

also... mine hasn't changed yet. I hope it happens soon. Seeing that not that many people applied to sac city makes me kick myself for not doing it. I had some personal stuff that meant I probably couldn't go to nursing school this year if I got in, so I was super unmotivated and waited till the last day to even get to ARC.

I looked at the classes and I think SCC takes 40 while ARC takes 30 but I could have them mixed up. SCC also accepts students for spring so more ppl will get in because of that.

I honestly can't belive they are still qualifying applications !! I guess end of April it is !! Good luck everyone

My status has not changed and still says received. Does ARC update theirs and say not qualified or will it just continue to say received?

I also only applied to ARC (first time applying) due to not qualifying for SCC or Sierra (bummer).

I heard that last year people were receiving acceptances when their status never even changed from "Received" on eservices so I would not lose all hope just yet.

it will say not qualified if you were missing something, so you will know ether way. My application just updated to qualified which means they are almost done going through them. They accepted mine 90 minutes before the end time. Hopefully now that they have gone through most we will know soon. It's just pulling names from a bowl/computer program...

Mine still says received so I wonder what order they are going in. Hopefully it updates tonight.

Still no update, my says received 2/06/18...it seems like they started backwards or something

the 8 weeks are up on the 25th so they still have 2 more weeks to announce

Mine still says received and last updated on 02/22/18 so they really must not be going in a particular order
