American River College (ARC) Nursing Fall 2025

Hello!

I could not find a cohort for Fall 2025, so we can use this!

This was my first semester applying, so for those who applied before and sending in the packing as well, how do you feel about the whole application being fully online?

What points did everyone apply with? I applied with just 70 points. My TEAS score was not the best, but I managed to barely qualify. Let me know how you all did!

To everyone that got accepted, is there a group I can join that can help with all questions I have about the documents on the packet checklist?

PLEASE NOTE:

You may only refer to/post Facebook links for your cohort on the public boards.

To create a special place for your cohort at allnurses for other social/mobile application links:

1.   Members with at least 15 posts can create a student "Club" for your cohort byclickingon the"Breakroom/Clubs" link under "Communities" at the top of any page in the upper left on desktop or "Breakroom" under "Special Sections" in the upper right on mobile.

2.   Click "Start a Breakroom Club".

3.   Invite members at your discretion.

You may post social or mobile application links once in a private club. Keep in mind, clubs will not be moderated, unless a member reports an issue.

Did you get the document checklist sent to you already? I haven't seen anything.

@lilyz14 I started a breakroom/club - ARC fall '25 I'm waiting for it to be approved. We can post in there on questions we have.

@SuzieKyoo 3 emails with checklist and a lot of info was sent out this afternoon.

I am a stay at home mom and recently decided I would like to pursue my AS in nursing to become an RN.  I am a little older, and would like to get my prereqs done as quickly as possible. I was looking into straighterline for this.  I'll be looking at something local in the Sacramento area, preferably one of the junior colleges.  I came on here to see if anyone knows if the junior colleges accept straighter line credentials?

Hi! You can go on the nursing page for whatever school you want to apply to and look at the equivalency grid/articulation grid for courses. Here's the link to arcs articulation grid. I wasn't seeing straighter line but you can also email ARC nursing with the email found on their website. I highly recommend getting your pre-reqs done at a school that's on the list so you don't waste time and/or money. mine just says reviewed, what email would the notification come in through? I have checked and nothing 😞
