Members are discussing the process of accepting an alternate status for a nursing program, receiving emails about orientation, creating a group to discuss checklist documents, and seeking information about transferring credits from Straighterline to junior colleges in the Sacramento area. Additionally, members are requesting to be added to a group for accepted students and inquiring about the start time of orientation.
Hello!
I could not find a cohort for Fall 2025, so we can use this!
This was my first semester applying, so for those who applied before and sending in the packing as well, how do you feel about the whole application being fully online?
What points did everyone apply with? I applied with just 70 points. My TEAS score was not the best, but I managed to barely qualify. Let me know how you all did!
I got my acceptance letter to my personal email. I will be declining as I already got accepted closer to my home , hopefully one of you guys gets the spot. Congratulations to all accepted , if anyone is interested my stats were 4.0 science GPA and a 3.77 cumulative , 98 TEAS , working CNA , and bilingual.
I just spoke with someone at the Health and Education HomeBase (916-484-8577) and was told that as long as I selected the "Accept Selection" button on my application, I was good and would not be receiving an email! The person I spoke with also said those of us who accepted should receive an email about orientation in the next few weeks. Congratulations to everyone who was accepted!

Thank you for the information! Congratulations to you too!🎊 👏🏾🩺👩🏾⚕️
Congrats to all whom got accepted! If you you saw the accept/decline option when you logged in, you were selected and it is up to you to determine if you take that seat or not. If by now you haven't gotten an email or you haven't seen the accept/decline button, you weren't selected. That being said, don't give up all hope as it is possible for a little while that you could still be offered a seat. Such an event does require that there be open seats after regular, alternate, and roll-back offers have been made. For a first semester seat, there likely will be no roll-back offers...
For those of you that clicked on "accept" or "decline" from within the tracking site and before you got an email, you probably won't get a separate "congrats" email as you will have already been notified as evidenced by your clicking on the appropriate accept/decline button. I suspect if you do not click either button, you would likely get that email... and the accept/decline buttons will be visible until you make your selection or the window of time for you to make your selection (defaults to decline) runs out.

Thank you and congrats! I was wondering when we I'll find out more. The email was very short and I'm anxious to start planning my schedule. I hope orientation is soon!
