Hi Everyone! I applied for ARCs program for Fall 14. I was an alternate for Fall 14 but was guaranteed a seat for Spring 15. For those of you waiting to hear back from ARC, don't worry! Keep in mind that some students who may be accepted to ARCs program probably have applications in with SacState or other CSUs. Those universities won't give decisions until the end of November. The waiting game is the worst part! :)
I received my rejection email yesterday.

Sorry to hear you both were not selected. Hopefully you're both otherwise qualified... if you are, reapply at the next opportunity and apply everywhere else that you're qualified. Spreading out the applications as far and wide as you can go (and afford) will improve your chances of getting selected for a program.
I got in at delta so I'll be going there. I just hate the commute and that the campus isn't super safe.
Hey! I looked online and got my acceptance for spring of 2015 for ARC!!
Looks like we will be in the same cohort! :)
Can somebody start a new thread for the Fall 2015 applicants to ARC Sac City and Sierra?? I don't know how to start a new topic but I would love to stay connected. I really could use support if I don't make it in again and no one understands like other people in the same boat!! I will keep trying to figure out how to do it myself.
How is Delta?? I'm in Rocklin and have three kids so I think the commute may be too much but I may have to apply there next cycle if I'm still not in a program!

There is also Sierra College which is an ADN program near sac, but you can do your BSN at the same time by going to Sac State during the Summer, and one semester after you graduate from the ADN.
