It is a private for-profit online university. However, the tuition is affordable and it does not have the shady reputation that plagues some of its private for-profit counterparts (U of Phoenix, Kaplan, etc).

I am currently enrolled with APU. So far so good, no real issues. Just wish it could be done faster. 8 and 16 week classes offered.
