Alvin Community College - ADN Spring 2017

Published

Hello.... The application period for Alvin Community College spring 2017 ADN program starts in 2 days... I will be submitting my application for consideration. Just wanted to know if there is anyone else who will be applying too.

Not really, to be honest.. But that's because I studied that school website like it was an actual course in school lol. She did go into detail about the Hep B series needed or the titer and also the possible need for a declaratory order it there is anything that may show up from your past.

LOL ikr! Every meeting they have scheduled, I have a class. Ugh! I know it's mandatory, so I have to figure this one out...cuz they're lab classes that conflict. I'll talk to my instructor and lab partner to see what I can do.

My application status has now updated on the school website. I now have 1 item left in order for my application to be complete. That is for my HESI. Elsevier is making the process so complicated for me and they never answer the phone!!! I have sent at least 3 emails and paid the $15 to have my results sent to ACC, but there is always something wrong. I did it for the fourth time today. Hope everything is OK now and they can send my HESI score before the deadline.

So my application is finally complete as of today !!!! Elsevier finally came through and sent my scores to the school. Now starts the waiting game for me.. I wish these days will go faster.... Uuggghhhhh....

I know you're relieved. I have one transcript that I'm still waiting on...which is weird because I requested it mid-August and ACC still hasn't received it. I re-submitted another request to the university. Seriously, if I have to drive to Louisiana and physically get the transcript and personally deliver it to ACC's registrar's office I will. LOL

Hello fellow future nurses, I attended the mandatory meeting today. I am a little nervous ACC has received 250 applications so far. In the meeting, she went over everything that must be turned in by September 30 at 4pm.

Wow 250????????? And today is only the 13th!!!!! When I attended the meeting, she stated that they only accept 30 people and 20 alternates I think. OMG! This is stressing me out!

Everything is checked off my list except for one transcript that's en route. Oh yeahhhhh!

Everything is complete on my checklist!!!

Everything is complete on my checklist!!!

Yay!!!

Hey ya'll! I went to the Sep. 20 meeting and she said well over 300 applications had been received! :o There seemed to be a lot of questions regarding immunizations and the HESI though, so it's possible not all of them will be completed by the deadline. Good luck to everyone!

Hey GennieMarie03! Thanks for the update. Good luck to you, too! :)
