I wasn't accepted :down: :scrying:not sure why, but it's okay...it just means it wasn't meant to be and I'll keep applying to other programs. It was my first and only school I applied to so I have faith that next time it'll be right :) God makes no mistakes. Congrats to everyone who was accepted!!! :)

I didn't see your post earlier because I was in rush going somewhere and I heard my alert and saw the email then I told the good news to my hubby and came to the forum to post the good news. For some reason I received an acceptance letter followed by a denial. Now I'm nervous all over again *tear* Congrats to everyone who got in and for those who didn't...please do not give up, we will all get the opportunity to shine real soon.

Hi everyone! I have been following this thread for awhile now. I just received an email saying I was wait listed. I am #13 out of 16. I am so disappointed. I really thought I had a chance. I have applied to UTMB and UTHSC twice. I have been denied for UTMB and I am waiting to hear back from UTHSC, but it seems like last semester when I didn't hear back and received a denial in the mail towards the end. I have an Associates of science degree, a 3.5 GPA, and an overall 86 HESI score. It is hard not to lose faith when you have tried your hardest and it still doesn't seem good enough. Congrats to everyone that was accepted! You should be very proud of yourself! I am hoping for a miracle here. 13 seems very far on the wait list.

Sorry to here that MissKAL, I was hoping all of us in this forum to get accepted but you're right God makes no mistakes! His time is perfect. I encourage you to stay positive and believe that in God's time nothing will stop you.

@derrick I am hoping you will be accepted soon.The accepted students have to respond via email if they are planning to attend the program or not by the beginning of November and many other reasons will open a door for students on the waiting list so stay positive.

@shern I understand how you feel. I thought I had a good chance of getting in as well. Don't give up! I'm actually gonna apply to UTMB and uthsc this coming year and a few programs. Alvin is really competitive and I know a lot of ppl who really wanted to go there.

I called shortly after and they have a voice message on. But I did reply to the email Mrs. Karen sent and she confirmed that it was blooper and I was indeed accepted into the program. @shern14, you have pretty decent scores so there must be a reason why you haven't been accepted yet. Have they told you why? Do you have all the pre-reqs completed? How is your overall GPA? Science GPA? I would definitely ask why you are being denied and fix it because you want to be pretty competitive and please DO NOT give up! All of my friends who went before me had some type of roadblock whether getting into the program or while in the program and now they are able to share their testimony and experiences with people like us. So it is attainable and by the grace of god, you WILL get in!!! Same for @MissKaL & others

I had a 3.6 gpa and got 90+ on all sections of my Hesi except reading and A&P which were in the 80s. Only class I hasnt taken was Pharm but all other pre-reqs were done, and I even have a bachelor's degree and work in ob/gyn doctors office in patient triage. I'm so lost but idk. I called the office to make sure it wasn't a mistake so I'm waiting to hear back from them..
