I am curious who the AllNurses staffers are? How many are employed by this very helpful All Nurses blog site? 50 employees? 500 employees? And what were your general career choices that landed you into such a golden & wonderfully coveted career? Seems like a very fun job to have.
I mean are you mostly licensed nurses or retired nurses? Are you computer engineers, customer service technicians or did you start out blogging on your own maybe? Or are you primarily a mixture of English & Journalist majors? Are you writers and editors who have been cross-trained with some type of medical background? Do you also have interns joining this organization as well as supervisors with graduate degrees? How long have you worked in the company? Does AN have other blogs that you also manage?
Does your team meet in an office, like in cubicles? Or are yall strictly working from home or remotely and the like? (Id hope they would have company get-to-gethers every so often, at least so you all could meet and greet your coworkers a bit).
Anyhow, I hope this did not sound intrusive. I am just curious about this wonderful and helpful site that All Nurses created to help so many of us all across the globe. So I was just wondering about the history & day-to-day of the organization & employees Ok everyone, back to our regularly scheduled programming now, Lol ~ Toodles!

Here you go https://allnurses.com/staff.php
Moderators are volunteers who give up their time to help on the site to make sure the experience in most cases is pleasant. As with most online chat places some things can be said in a different way than was intended and we all can put our own spin on how things are written

FutureDNP2021 I would like to talk with you more I haven't visited this in a long time but that is not evident as I just re-registered under this email address from my website not my personal email account. I could not get my old user name to log in -or- send a reset email. One of your recent posts caught my eye. I went to your profile to see if this system had a way for me to private message you but it does not. I did however stumble across your threads list and I think we have a lot in common as far as concerns though I have lived them and you are just now in school. I had a physical injury that contributed to my lose of work and weight gain and struggle with finances after the lose of work and heavy burden of student loans. I live in Seattle which does not yet have a 15$ an hour minimum wage but the suburb of it SeaTac does and it is not the end of the world. I can relate a lot about various struggles if you want though I don't want to scare you so much as help you avoid any mistakes I might have made. I've been through a lot and have a lot of problem solving skills to add to your toolkit so you can be a success.
Silverdragon102 I also would like to know more about the staff. I am making a career change to web and mobile design and originally was an RN. I might want to get more involved or work on some of your site. For starters there are some User interface issues I noticed right away with a pop up that triggers informing people something of their profile. That popup is unreadable and cannot be navigated to see all of the text. I don't know what I could contribute but I can start by giving you a screen shot of what I just encountered when trying to comment on this thread. I really just want to get to know more about what you feel this site is really for and about. Forums and threads can be helpful or hurtful and I want to make this a more positive experience for users by adding to the suggestions of how it might be with things like a way to PM or a live chat for certain topics. Just idea's how people can begin to mentor the Younger nurses and the Older nurses can learn from the new ones.
Here is that screen shot I promised.

Thank you Reigh7 for reporting that bug ... This has been fixed.
This error occurred because you Signed-In in another window and clicked on Register in another.
Users will now run into the following error message whenever that happens...
Thanks Joe V that was fast! Is there a way for a site admin to setup some sort of auditing that allows you to look back for stuff like that. I would not have captured all of that detail in my head or did you have to trial and error debug it until it happened? I have been very confused and a little unfocused the last few days. I've had a lot on my plate. I had not wanted to loose my place on this thread so I opened a new window to log in and then could not due to not knowing my old accounts credentials. Then I ended up registering back in the old window "I think" because I was just confused. The details are fuzzy I know I ended up at some point just copying and pasting the URL to a text file.
