allnurses' Holiday Reruns

As a kid, I would watch Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer every year around Christmas time and never tired of seeing it. Last year around this time, with my art, I was into an animation phase, so I dug some up that were featured on this General Nursing forum.

My Dad, along with working as a welder and managing a small farm, was also a fireman for our small town's volunteer fire department. As a kid, I would sometimes go with him when he helped to sell Christmas trees for the fire department.

The stands that held the trees were also water reservoirs. You didn't want that reservoir to go empty, as the Christmas tree would lose its needles sooner, dry out faster, and become more of a fire hazard.

Thanks, Davey! Seeing these again is a nice break from the materialistic frenzy that the Holidays have become. (maybe I've seen one too many luxury car with giant bow on top and young lady dripping with diamonds commercials on my teevee) ?
