Self talk can be a nuisance...
And,in an apparent state of Cosmic Knowingness and Precocious Precognitivity, didn't the Beatles once sing a song titled "Gas Man"?
"That's one for you, nineteen for me..." Hmmm.
And in a totally unrelated vein, today I was blessed to be a passerby of a group of hysterical boys in their early teenage years who were trying to BURP Barack Obama's name. It should've been on YouTube; it was quite the moment.

Yeah.
While on break the night of the election, I was listening to KMOX in St. Louis that's 1190 on your am dial. A guest speaker referred to Donald Trump as the "Orange Turd".
How disrespectful.
No Stars In My Eyes said:What then? Move to Canada en mass?
This is such a nuisance: I don't understand the mass hysteria; I can't get my head around it:
Why are people so up in arms over an election that was carried out according to the laws of our country?
No matter what you may think of the man, whatever feelings you may have toward him, he is the president-elect! And aside from campaigning and making some statements, Mr. Trump has done nothing yet!
It's like the bottom line truth TheCommuter stated in a thread on what's going to happen to healthcare:
TheCommuter said:At this point we can only speculate.
And that speculation has moved masses to hysteria!
I don't understand.
Okay. In order to deal with this nuisance, I am currently left with my own base of understanding.
A truth: People feel pain-
According to Arthur Janov, author of The Primal Scream, people often push pain into their primal pool.
Another truth- a universal law: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
As the cartoon above shows, Donald's action is to express a truth, Hillary's reaction is to express pain.
Once that pain is felt and allowed to be expressed, the expression of that pain may not be result of the current pain solely. Janov theorized that people also often expressed other pains pent up from their primal pool. In these cases, we often get overreactions.
Hence, we can surmise that people are overreacting to Trump's victory due to not only the fear of what may come (TheCommueter's speculation), but also to past pains unable to be expressed at the time they were felt.
Or not.
