In front of us Kids, my Parents used the phrase "doing laundry" as an indication one or the other desired an intimate liaison.

Okay. So I didn't go to the most prestigious Nursing School. Okay- so it took me 14 years to get a two year degree. (I as in the accelerated program.)

There were other Nursing Schools I could have attended. Near Anomaly Il there is the Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey which is all hoity-toity calling themselves "LC3", like I don't know my integers from a hole in the ground.

But my alma mater located in Anomaly was great. We shared the same acronym with Lewis & Clark, so People were always getting us mixed up. The hoity-tity Lewis & Clark Students would call us "Last Chance". Or "Lost Cause" to try to put us down. But we were proudly the Students of....
