Nursing Students General Students

Hi there. I was just interested to see who else is about to start their LAST semester!!!! I can't believe it's gone by so fast! Have you guys decided what unit you want to work on? I am going to work on a tele unit for about a year or so and then hopefully transfer to CVICU. Let me know how you guys are doing and what your plans are!! :roll Jess

I can join this thread also.....even though I am a senior in HIGH SCHOOL!!!:D (LOL) I just had to add this. I can't WAIT for nursing school, but I have a while to go. Oh well. I am waiting as patiently as I can! :D

Hi! Four months to go!!!

One of my friends keeps sending me these countdowns:

It is 126 days, 12 hours, 36 minutes and 42 seconds until May 10, 2003, at 12:00:00 PM(UTC time)

Current reference time is

Friday, January 3, 2003, at 11:23:18 PM UTC

Love it!

Specializes in critical care, med/surg.

:roll Good luck to everyone............counting down slowly and surely until May 9th! Classes just started today, and we found out that we can wear our own scrubs to OB clinical (yeah nooooooo whites:p ) AND no care plans for OB!!! No, I didn't just hallucinate that either!!! We have a choice of projects to participate in instead of writing care plans!!!!!

Yay me too:)

I think it's May 11th that I graduate. For me this went by slow after 5 years full time of school:( But the fun stuff went by fast I think. I can't wait to make some type of cash and not be an exceedingly poor student anymore:)

Wow, you guys all finish before me, I don't graduate until June 14th......it's this quarter system......but I cannot BELIEVE how fast my time in the program has gone by!! And I am on my way to Peds, OB or Tele....haven't decided for sure yet!! :D

I graduate in May, also. I only have clinicals left in Community Health and our senior practicum, which in my case is 135 hours of ED. After graduation, we won't get authorization for NCLEX until July. So that will give me LOTS of time to worry over it.

Good luck to all of you! We're almost there!

Me, too! Me too! I graduate May 22, but school is over on the 16th.

I am currently a LPN, working as a temp. I think I will stay with this for a while and build up some $$ to move out of state. I also will enjoy just working and not running frantic because of school, too.

I know the kids are looking forward to mom just being mom.

They hate my being in school, but put up with it cause they know I am doing it, primarily for me, but mostly for them. I want to have more than enough for once! And a better job will allow that. I am planning a nice vacation for us for the summer.

YIPPEE!!! Almost done with this torture.
