All Programs in Ohio

Published

I think it would be helpful to list all LPN STNA and RN programs in different areas of Ohio. Google and other searches arent always complete or current. There's allot of progras I didn't know about that I found on this board.

sorry if theres already a post like this feel free to delete.

I'll name the ones in my area

Sinclair- STNA, RN

Warren county career center- STNA and LPN(?)

Miami Jacobs- LPN

Butler Tech- STNA, LPN

Kettering college of medical arts- RN, BSN

Specializes in lots of specialties.

you can try this site. http://www.nlnac.org/Forms/directory_search.htm

it has the listings by state, program type....ummm sorry but no stna programs are listed. You can find those at most technical schools...even in the paper

Actually, MedCentral College of Nursing's program is a BSN. They also offer an Accelerated BSN for anyone who already has a bachelor's.

I attend NCSC. :) I'm getting my RN, but one can also get their LPN there. We also offer an LPN to RN bridge program.

Stark State advisor told me that the waiting list is now very short due to many students have left for the new ADN programs opening in the area. So you may want to check it out.

I know this isn't a program in Ohio, but I just wanted to mention...for those of you who are concerned about financing Bachelor'sprograms...if you are presetly attending a community college, if your school has a Phi Theta Kappa chapter, check into that. Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society of two-year colleges, and they have several excellent scholarship prgrams, both for attendance at the two-year shools and also for those continuing their eduation at four-year schools.

Really, the Ohio Board of Nursing is going to be the best place to look for these programs. It lists all approved LPN and RN programs in the state.

Is there currently a waitlist for NCSC?

Hi all,

I live in Lorain County and at Lorain County Community College or LCCC they have all types of medical programs. They have a STNA program, LPN, RN and they also do a University Partnership with The University of Akron for the BSN program. they also have Medical Assisting there along with many more in the "Allied Health and Nusing Division." I am currently taking my pre-requisites there. They do offer some online courses as well as television and on campus classes. Hope this gives more information to prospective students!

Anyone that would like any advice contact me!

Tabitha

does anyone know if there is a way to become an rn in the cincinnati area without it taking 5 years and without paying over 30k for two years of school. I cant find any school that does not have a waiting list except those that want $280 dollars or more a credit hour. its really frustrating.
