I wanted to find an evening class and tried hondros (no evening classes), bohecker, beckfield, and brown mackie, and I can get in right away but it cost $33,000-45,000 dollars to get an lpn and then an rn. raymond walters has a two year wait after prereq. that would take 5 years for me all together. same with cincinnati state. christ, st joseph, and good sam dont have a waiting list but I would have to get there prereq's done and hope im one of the aplicants to get accepted in aug. 2009 other wise I have to wait another year. I really want to start a career as a nurse but I cant find a place to start. Any Ideas? Thanks

does anyone know if there is a way to become an rn in the cincinnati area without it taking 5 years and without paying over 30k for two years of school. I cant find any school that does not have a waiting list except those that want $280 dollars or more a credit hour. its really frustrating.
