Hi everyone! I decided to start this thread in hopes of seeing if there is anyone excited about applying to the fscj RN program spring 2013. I am currently taking a microbiology class this summer. I would have applied for fall 2012 but met with some technical difficulties. I have 206 in total points w/o micro. Let's stay in touch and keep this ball rolling!
Hello everyone!! I am also new to all P.. But I have bee stressing about the NAT exam. I am going to be applying for the Spring term in 2013 so as you already know the deadline is right around the corner. So I am going to be taking my NAT exam nex week. So I am just super scared. I have been studying by butt of but I am not sure what to expect from this test... I have been using the Peterson's book called "Mastering The Nursing School & Allied Health Entrance Exams the 18th edition". So hopefully the test would be similiar to that. Also, I was wondering how the score works for the NAT exam I see people saying they got 80, 30 and 65 so I was just wondering is it out of 100? So if anyone out there has any advice for me please feel free to leave me a message. I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks you!! :)
NAT total is 120 I got 99 I wont stress too much about it, the NAT is easier than the TEAS that other schools give.I got 84% on the TEAS...as I am also trying for UCF.
I don't want to get my hopes up but I was reading through some past forums and have seen AT LEAST three Clay and St. Johns county people get in. One had around 220 points and one had 206. I couldn't figure out the last one. Hopefully that is a good sign though...
Hey everyone! I am new to the forum and also a Spring 2013 hopeful. With my NAT & prereqs i'm currently at a 206 I believe. I'm so glad I read through this b/c I haven't taken my CPR cert yet. Just signed up this morning and scheudled to take it Thursday night 6-10 down by the beaches. If anyone needs info let me know =) Good luck to everyone!!
Good day, all!! I signed up for my CPR class. I am taking it at St. Vincent's on the 24th from 9am-12noon. For FSCJ students, the cost is only $25!! They are also having a class on the 26th as well, if anyone is interested. Now, I just have to schedule my NAT!! I don't know why I am so nervous about that!
Just saw a post from 09' that said they reserve 10% of their seats for out of county.... Too afraid to call and ask lolI don't want to get my hopes up but I was reading through some past forums and have seen AT LEAST three Clay and St. Johns county people get in. One had around 220 points and one had 206. I couldn't figure out the last one. Hopefully that is a good sign though...LPNnowRNhopefullman-nurse2b

"Your testing results are reported in two ways, as raw scores and as percentile rank. Each raw score represents the number of questions answered correctly in one particular part of the examination." Your academic aptitude (Verbal, Arithmetic, and nonverbal),your Reading Comp and Info in the Natural sciences are combined and multiplied by .64 to get your point value. For example, the aritmetic portion is 90 questions in 30 minutes so if you answer 65 correctly, that will be your raw score in that area. I don't remember how many questions are in each section and I don't think there are many resources on that, but just remember to stay calm, keep a steady pace and that they don't expect you to answer all the questions. The more you answer though, the better your potential score, because they don't take off points for wrong answers. Good luck! :)
