Hi everyone! I decided to start this thread in hopes of seeing if there is anyone excited about applying to the fscj RN program spring 2013. I am currently taking a microbiology class this summer. I would have applied for fall 2012 but met with some technical difficulties. I have 206 in total points w/o micro. Let's stay in touch and keep this ball rolling!

Ok guys I will be joining you tomorrow in Orange Park for the CPR class. See you there!!

How many seats are left?! I can't call for a few more hours :/

Going to voicemail when I call .. Left a message so I hope she calls back!!

Maybe on lunch break?.

kristiann1985 & mandasue... see you guys there!

I'll be there :)

Hi everyone, just learned about this site and I think it's so great that there's a place for this kind of conversation! I took the NAT test today and sent in my application for Spring 2013, so crossing my fingers.

I read earlier that there are a couple of people who live out of county,... I've looked into it pretty seriously and I read on the LPN app that in-county has priority but nothing I've read on the RN program mentions it. Everything says that it's strictly points based. I REALLY hope that's true because I live in Baker County, waaay out in the sticks lol

I'm pretty nervous, there's only 1 non-private program closer than FSCJ to me and their point system is crazy. Only 60 points available and 20 can only be had if you have CNA experience, they also reserve 20 of their 60 spots for high school students...needless to say I didn't get in, BUT the system at FSCJ seems way more fair and geared towards academia. I'm hoping that having my AA from FSCJ helps...but I talked to an advisor the other day and she said she didn't think it mattered at all...eh. :/

Good luck everyone!

Hello everyone!! I am also new to all P.. But I have bee stressing about the NAT exam. I am going to be applying for the Spring term in 2013 so as you already know the deadline is right around the corner. So I am going to be taking my NAT exam nex week. So I am just super scared. I have been studying by butt of but I am not sure what to expect from this test... I have been using the Peterson's book called "Mastering The Nursing School & Allied Health Entrance Exams the 18th edition". So hopefully the test would be similiar to that. Also, I was wondering how the score works for the NAT exam I see people saying they got 80, 30 and 65 so I was just wondering is it out of 100? So if anyone out there has any advice for me please feel free to leave me a message. I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks you!! :)

120 from pre-reqs & 120 from NAT= 240 possible points. Hope this helps! Good luck :)

Thank you Liamsmama!!!I understand the 120 for the pre reqs I just don't understand the 120 points for the NAT.. Sorry, is just I have 104 points with just my pre req classes without my micro class so I am trying to figure out what type of score I need to get to get above a 200 point all together. I guess I just have to stop second guessing myself and just take the NAT test lol..

so by using this the online tool ad the book you posted shown in the google preview link you got posted above ( which I have been using that same book to study) really help you score well in the NAT test?
