I had to take college algebra. We could only test out of the lower level math classes. I took it over the summer online. I got a B in it. If I had been able to take it in person I could have probably got an A. It was a lot of interpreting graphs and logarithms. We use my math lab at my school and I just kept doing practice problems until I got it. It wasn't easy and I spent some time on the class but it the end I passed. You could look at Khan academy.
Khan Academy is a life saver, not just in algebra, but in chemistry, biology, etc. It's just a great website all around.

Double thumbs up to Khan Academy!!! I got through Organic Chemistry with an A because of their wonderful videos. The way they explain things really makes it a "light bulb" moment! They have loads of math & science tutorials. Use them to supplement what you're learning in class :)

If I don't test out of math, I'll have to take college Algebra along with my other pre reqs. My school only accepts the top 40 students into their nursing program, and I wasn't worried about this until I learned that I may have to take College Algebra. Algebra has never been my forte. Are there any website or apps that would be a good study aid for me that are specifically geared for college algebra? Thanks!
She believed she could, so she did.
