Air Force Nursing Selection Boards Nov 2017

Hello Everyone!!

Is there anyone out there besides me that has an application package being reviewed by the board committee this month for the Air Force Nurse Corps?

Specializes in Adult Critical Care.

It is worth applying again. Years ago, I was wait-listed my first try. I applied 6 months later with essentially the same resume and I got in.

The number of slots may increase or the number of applicants may decrease. I also think they value persistence.

Congratulations Pike, what second round is this? I don't think my recruiter told me about that.

So first time up for me was last round of boards. I believe that was for November boards. I wasn't selected. The following selection board (February) I got selected.

Oh wow, OB. Congrats. I haven't heard mention of a facebook page for those attending August COT. I think it would be a good idea though.

Thanks for the info, Pike. Your recruiter allowed you to reapply for the next board? My recruiter told me I had to wait until the next fiscal year to apply. I'm wondering if I may need a different recruiter?

You may not necessarily need a new recruiter. Looks like you applied to HPSP. Don't they only have boards once a year?
