Air Force Nursing Selection Boards Nov 2016

Did anyone else apply for the November 2016 USAF Nurse boards? I am applying as a fully qualified ER Nurse (46N3J). Today (Dec 2) was the earliest day the board may have released results, but nothing has been released as of now (5pm PST), so I'm guessing we won't hear anything until next week.

Just looking to network with other potential USAF RNs!

Awesome. Hopefully you can hear the good news soon then get a COT date sooner as well. It was number rwo on my sheet. I was surprised to get it as it is only a clinic. Do they tell you your base before COT?

Yes. I asked him specifically what information he'll have when he calls, and he said he will let me know my COT date and what base I'm assigned to after COT.

Just spoke with my recruiter! Officially selected as an ER/Trauma nurse! My COT date is Aug 14th, and my first base is Wright-Patt in Dayton, Ohio!

Congrats! Where was Wright-Patt on your dream sheet? I went there years ago for a training for like 2 weeks.

Applied for critical care RN and was in he November boards. Just heard yesterday my COT is May 2017 and I will be at Langley AFB in Virgina!!! My recruiter also said getting everyone into the system is behind. Be patient!!

The options for stateside USAF OR Nursing are:

Travis AFB, Sacramento, CA

Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, NV

SAMMC, San Antonio, TX

Kessler AFB, Biloxi, MS

Wright-Patterson AFB, OH

Langley, VA

and I think there are 2 options in FL

I was selected for OR nursing as well!! Im going to COT August 17'. I was assigned to Nellis AFB.

Awesome, tdunlap913! Nellis is a great base. You'll love the area as well. We'll be going to COT together. I just created a closed Facebook group for our class. Search Facebook for AF COT 17-06, and request to join.
