Anyone applied for the Air Force Nurse Boards on October 2019?

Just spoke with my recruiter and heard the same, selections have been made, though they might still be working on base placements. Nonetheless, the estimated release date is still around the first week of November, just a couple more weeks guys?

My husband just got a call. We won't be hearing anything until mid November or even the end of November. He was told that they still don't even have the actual numbers, just projected, so no selections have been made and won't be until they know exactly how many people they need.

That's what I heard from my (awesome new) recruiter. Release estimated mid-Nov, no selections have been made despite whatever others said, and reason unknown other than the board is undermanned and not enough people to read through the amount of applications in a timely manner.

Edit: ALSO, the wait is getting ridiculous. END OF NOV? Yeah, okay.

Not sure this will help - but when I came in AD I expected results in November by thanksgiving. No word came. ... until March! None. In March I found out I was going to COT in May.

So no news is good news! Good luck and be patient. Everything about the military is a tat of faith and patience.

Not likely they will wait until the end of November to release. They have to get ready for the next board in January. My recruiter still says he has not received any emails saying that the date has been extended past Nov 1st. I guess we will see next week.

Seeing as the recruiter was the one to reach out to us and tell us the information, I would say it's probably true. Otherwise, he'd have no reason to call because we know the game. Don't expect to hear anything until Mid-November. Then if you do hear something sooner, it will be a pleasant surprise.

I really do hope they release results next week but if they haven't even made selection yet then it doesn't seem likely.

No, I called yesterday and he did not answer. He may be in training. Last week he told me to wait until November 4th.. when I asked why, he told me because November 1st is on a Friday. I messaged an acquaintance from last year who did nurse recruiting for many years who still has contacts and he told me the same..Nov 1st is the estimated date. I do remember the board sending out an official email when selections were made last year and they told them that results would be released the following week. So I have no idea ?

I talked to my recruiter, he is in training this week. When I asked if he had heard anything, his exact words “No, I am in a Nurse Corp meeting, no one has any information”.
? so frustrating.
