Anyone applied for the Air Force Nurse Boards on October 2019?

I've been keeping my mind off the boards w/ swimming and working out. No update on my end, I texted my recruiter if she knows anything about the # of applicants who applied, and surprise surprise no reply. I plan on bugging her Oct 11 about results lol

I'll try to get in contact with my recruiter in the morning, will let you know if I get an update, crossing my fingers with matching prayers lol, hopefully we get selected!?

I wanted to give everyone an update, the anticipated board release date has been extended to Nov 1st. This is just an estimate of course, per my recruiter. They did this last year but it didn’t extend that long.

Thank you for the update! I just heard the same from my recruiter, I guess we’ve kind of expected that. Just gotta hold on a bit more guys, hope we wouldn’t have to wait for too long??

imma pretend I didn't hear that.... jk but wow, of course my recruiter would ignore my requests for update. Good to know! Or else I would never know and continue to bug my recruiter Oct 11 onwards. Thankfully I have competitive swimming and other things to keep my mind busy all month!

Hi everyone, I applied to for AF FY20 RN board. My recruiter just told me too that results will be posted by Nov 1st. I am so anxious already, now another 2 weeks.I have been waiting and preparing for this for over a year. I will have to try to find something to keep my mind off of just waiting for the results. I hope WHEN you all get in ? the scroll/commission process speeds up. I was accepted (Army) back in April and still haven’t received my appointment order to commission ? the hurry up and wait is not a joke. Nov 1 will be here in no time!

Hi rteen, welcome to the group! Yeah the wait is too real!? unfortunately that's all we have left to do at this point, lol other than preparing for the PFT. What specialty did you apply for?

Hi Shaycb7, Congratulations on your acceptance! at least you already know you're selected, we are yet to get to your place. Oh man... the wait is too real? I hope they find a better way to streamline the process. Did they give you an estimated date at least?

I almost kind of expected this delay when my recruiter said "estimated date of release" lol I just really hope we wouldn't have to wait for too long, this is gonna be the longest October. Just focusing on PFT for now, good luck on that competitive swimming!?

I applied to for the CRNA HPSP at this board. I am nervous like all the rest of you. I hope we find out before November 1st. The wait is taking forever. Luckily school is keeping me very occupied. I hope we all get in!! First I hear something I will post! Good luck!!

I just found out today that I was passed up and I was selected a second alternate for the HPSP during anesthesia school. I hope the rest of you have better luck!!! Best wishes!
