Hello, I saw that a lot of people talked about the USAF NTP 2017; looking for anyone who is applying for the 2018 year? And any information from those who have previously completed the program! Thanks!
Hey there, my recruiter called me yesterday with an application status update. I inquired after seeing activity within this thread a few days ago, but after some explanation I was told NTP results weren't finalized. He said there was a list that has been released, but there were some issues with it and he wasn't comfortable informing his recruits until he was given the official "OK". He basically said, "I don't want to tell someone they've been selected, then have to call them back a few days later, after the list is finalized, with bad news." Hope this helps to ease any angst. Good luck!!
I was just informed by my recruiter that I have been put on the alternate select list. Apparently, only 20 people were selected this year, with almost 200 applicants. My recruiter said that they were trying to negotiate more spots but they didn't get them. The alternate list is small too. Only 5 people made the list. Usually there is more than 10.
Yes, my recruiter mentioned that today. She wasn't very cleared but assured me that I was selected, it was just that my COT date was pushed further. She mentioned program managers are working to send everyone. I'm very confused as well. I am sorry to anyone being affected by this. Has anyone heard when the official results will be put out?
Hi all!
Congratulations to everyone selected! I just wanted to come in and let you guys know that if you have any questions about COT and NTP, definitely feel free to PM me! I was in your shoes a year ago and remember I had so many questions about COT and NTP, plus I was just extremely impatient and excited! So far it has been a great experience that I would not change for anything!

I was not selected for NTP, but was picked up as Fully Qualified for Med Surg! See you guys around the Force, and maybe in COT. Congratulations again and good luck in all of your future endeavors!
