Air Force NTP 2014

Hello guys! I've been reading all the Air Force nursing posts and threads for a few months now, but it doesn't seem like there's been much activity on people applying this July for NTP. I'm just looking for other people who've applied and are twiddling their thumbs like me!! Anyone out there applying for the NTP and not COT?!

My recruiter just text me saying he hopes to get the results from the selection board any day now. He also mentioned they will be taking 35 med-surg.

johnro, I've been meaning to ask as well! I'm a guy. It's hard to tell solely from people's usernames.

Agreed! Good luck man, hopefully we hear something soon. However, unlike everybody else is recruiter, I've heard nothing from mine recently :-)

Good luck to you too! And yea, my recruiter hasn't said anything lately either.

I thought they were taking more than 35? 35 was the original number.

I think they were going to except 30–35 people. So it looks like they decided on the higher number. Pretty much, that means 40 total with the OB selectees. If there really were only about 100 applicants, those are pretty good numbers. Too much stress!

I need them to hurry up!

All good things are worth waiting for....

but I am with siohara3!

Any day now! Patience patience patience! (Easier said, I know...) 35 Medsurg and 5 OB!! Hoping for one of those 5 OB spots considering I've passed up 2 Labor & Delivery job offers since graduating in May. Good luck to all candidates :)

Okay guys, contact your recruiters! Results are in. I've been selected! Excited to talk to The other selectees. Congratulations Utah, we had four selectees!
