Air Force NTP 2014

Published

Hello guys! I've been reading all the Air Force nursing posts and threads for a few months now, but it doesn't seem like there's been much activity on people applying this July for NTP. I'm just looking for other people who've applied and are twiddling their thumbs like me!! Anyone out there applying for the NTP and not COT?!

Johnro, my recruiter said San Antonio Texas for NTP then off to Travis AFB in California. Where are you going?

Specializes in ER.

Im heading to Maxwell Jan19, NTP in San Antonio Feb24, then off to Keesler AFB.

Congrats to those selected! I was an OB select. COT Jan 19---> NTP in Tampa --> first duty assignment is San Antonio!!! Way to go MAINE!!!

Well I was not selected. My recruiter said they had about 300 people apply this year though, not 100. Congrats to all of you who made it!

I'm alt 8 for med/surg. Fingers crossed.

COT is 30 Mar 15 your NTP is 6 May 15 in scottsdale and duty assignment is wright patterson afb ohio.

I was selected too... COT 30 March, NTP Scottsdale 6 May and duty assignment is SAMMC

Looks like we'll be doing training together! I'm also going to COT at the end of March and doing my NTP in Scottsdale in May!

For those of you who got in, could you post some of your highlighted points for your resumes/applications? I'm not really sure what I could have done better and I'm just curious.

I made #10 on the waitlist. It seems like a few people were placed #8 on the list... what does that even mean?
