Just talked to my recruiter and he said that the decisions have been made/assignments assigned but we are waiting for the general to sign off on them (military law). The general was TDY last week which is why we did not find out on Friday. However, the general is expected to sign off on them this week and then we will be notified. Fingers crossed that we do! Good luck to everyone!

My recruiter just called me saying I've been selected! She didn't have any info as far as COT date, active duty station, etc... But I'm glad to know that I'm in! Thanks to everybody for all the info and support through my almost year long process of trying to get into the AF.

I just got notified that I was accepted into active duty AF nursing. The wait was killing me. Hopefully we will find our dates and locations soon. Congrats to everyone and I look forward to meeting everyone in the near future. By the way, I live in Colroado.

I just got the call that I was accepted too! I'm so excited but also so nervous! I can't wait to find out where and when I'll be going. Congratulations to everyone!

I finally heard from my recruiter - I'm in too :) No when and where yet though either. Nervous but very relieved! Congrats everyone!!

Yay, congrats everyone! I'm in too!

Congratulations to everyone!

Congrats!!!! When your duty stations start rolling in start a thread for your class; I'm curious to see where everyone's going.

I found out on the 3rd that I got accepted!!!

I will graduate in May and then go one from there.

I was told that they did not know where I will be stationed yet, but my wait is over so I don't really care. Ha.

Hey I just joined and in the same boat. I was suppose to hear about selection Friday Dec 4, however as you said a general was on temporary assignment and waiting on him to return. So you did hear that we would find something out this week. Im getting anxious

Congratulations to everyone!

I'm still waiting to hear as I applied for the December non-NTP boards...

Specializes in ED. ICU, PICU, infection prevention, aeromedical e.

It's crazy that people who don't graduate until May know they are in, but folks who are fully qualified are still waiting. I am an experienced ICU nurse with my CCRN and my master's degree, but they already picked new nurses. My consolation is that I'm still working and have a secure future while I wait. Hang in there!

That happened to me - I sent them my package this past February, and I didn't hit a board until May. Like midinphx said - hang in there....
