Air Force COT Oct 2016

Is anybody else going to COT in October? Where are you going to NTP and/or Permanent Duty Station?

I'm going to Cincinnati for NTP, and still patiently waiting for orders.

Hey there. I was also supposed to go in Aug but i had some additional stuff to do for medical. I am finally cleared now and am going to be in Oct Cot. Do you know the exact dates?

Hey guys! I was told report date for COT will be Oct 3. So I'm a little nervous for it to be that close and I don't have my orders yet. Have you heard anything from your recruiters?

It's the hurry up and wait. I was slotted to go 15aug16. No scroll or orders in time. Happened to about 5 of us. Have you been commissioned yet?

I have not commissioned yet. Probably early next week. It has been a journey to get here though. You are right...hurry up and wait.

Has your scroll returned and been approved??? That's what my hold up is... Is your rank correct?

Yes. I have been scrolled for a while now. How do i check my rank?

Then it must be correct. I was scrolled before i was selected so im not sure how long it takes. I do know my recruiter told me that i was lucky that i was scrolled because it takes a while. Wish i had better info for you.

I'm likewise waiting to be commissioned. I'm waiting for security clearance too which is taking a long time considering almost all agencies are online/connected now. No updates for a week since the last time I spoke to my recruiter. Not being "in control" is something I have to get used to. I am hopeful that we see each other in Oct 3.

I hope to get scrolled soon also! Literally I was guaranteed to go- house sold and Job done- but no scroll no orders in time... Don't wish it on anyone..
