I know exactly how you feel. But I am still holding out hope that we will get to go to COT in October. I know that some members of the August COT class did not get their orders until they were less than 2 weeks out.

I was told the same thing. Did your recruiter tell you when we can expect orders to roll out? All I got was "sometime soon".

I just searched COT 17-01 and then the Facebook group AF COT Class 17-01 popped up on the results.

I found AF COT Class 17-01 on Facebook. I just requested to join! Oct 4 is right around the corner :)

No problem! I would suggest getting familiar with the physical fitness test standards for your gender and age group. The biggest chunk of points come from the run, so just work on that. I, myself, am running at least 3 times a week nowadays in preparation for COT. The push-ups and sit-ups are a matter of practice too. Before I take a fitness test, I usually do timed (1-minute) push-ups and sit-ups at least once a day so I know how to pace myself. I don't do weight-lifting very often, but those workouts do translate into the fitness test.

Hey guys! I was told report date for COT will be Oct 3. So I'm a little nervous for it to be that close and I don't have my orders yet. Have you heard anything from your recruiters?

Hi Jjj1776, I got my letter with report date for COT and NTP a few weeks ago. I am currently enlisted so I didn't have to go to MEPS, just needed to have a current physical exam on file. Looking forward to seeing you at COT! I hope we all get orders soon.

Hi CJsmom! I don't think there is one. I tried looking and ended up joining the August group - oops! Looking forward to seeing you at COT! On the bright side, at least it won't be too hot in October.

Is anybody else going to COT in October? Where are you going to NTP and/or Permanent Duty Station? I'm going to Cincinnati for NTP, and still patiently waiting for orders.
