If I could trade base with you I would. Lol. Nevada was my second pick.

It looks like Langley is kinda maybe a little ghetto. I think every area has good and bad areas it should be ok thought I found some nice apartments:) I just hope they are in good areas. Just so excited!

I kept it private because I still have to go tell my grandma lol. I don't know if it will even pop up. Just friend me or Megan we will add you :)

Hi Samantha,

Can I add you in FB?

I posted in the other thread as well but found out this morning I'll be joining you all in May and then on to Fort Belvoir. Wasn't even on my list, but hey, it will be good! I've got buddies in the DC area.

I pm'd you about Facebook. If you search me I'm sure you can add me on. I searched your name and there are a lot of Samantha Lynns. :)

I wonder if there are other pages we can search to invite them to our Facebook page! I'm sure there are so many more attending COT in May that don't visit this forum.

Hi everyone! I'll be at COT in May with all of you next year! I'll be stationed at Nellis AFB.

I think it's so cute how excited you all are. You have no idea! I will say that Nellis is a far better choice than Travis. ACC vs. AMC. AMC eats their own, meaning watch your back! Langley is nice, but the area around it is ghetto. There are a LOT of brass at Langley too because that's where ACC is headquartered. I'm currently a Medic at Travis and I've been here two years, so if you have questions ask away.

How cute we are? Thanks...? I feel like after 5 years enlisted in the Army (almost half of that deployed), I have a good idea of what I'm getting myself into. Should be just a little different as a Captain in the Air Force in the medical field (sarcasm of course; it's night and day).

Xibalba,

What advice do you have for COT? I'm sure it's way different than basic but a lot might be similar? Also any input about Scott? Thanks!
