  1. Hi Samantha, Can I add you in FB?
  2. If I could trade base with you I would. Lol. Nevada was my second pick.
  3. COT in May too!!! Will be stationed in Travis CA.
  4. I made it!!!! I got selected today!!! COT in May. I cannot believe it.. I didn't think I would make it because this is my first time applying, graduating BSN in Dec, but I got selected. Woohoo!!!
  5. 20 fq med surg selected in the DC/MD/VA area?? If that's the case then other applicants from another state did not get selected. I'm from Illinois. I emailed my recruiter today and he said he has not heard anything yet.
  6. Congratulations Morgan!! Im so happy for you!!!
  7. Thanks guys..
  8. Has anyone heard anything from their recruiter?
  9. Just try to relax and think of it as just your regular physical exam. Don't be frustrated with the whole "hurry up and wait" system. Make sure you go over with your recruiter what you need to do. If you can hold your pee, then it will make the whole process faster when it's your turn to give urine sample. Be polite. Be friendly with other applicants because it will make the day go by faster. Hope this helps. Good luck to all of us.
  10. Just finished my meps yesterday and I was qualified for service. Yay!!!
  11. I think it's just a preference. I have read in other posting/thread that you can even do meps after you're selected but it might have changed again. Good luck to us. I hope we get selected.
  12. Going to MEPS here on the 16th of Sep. My recruiter said results come out last week of Oct.
  13. Hi TnRn, I am excited for you. I have an upcoming chief nurse interview Sept 9 for a clinical nurse as well. I am very anxious and nervous. Any tips for the CNO? Types of questions they ask? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  14. Hi TnRN, I talked to my recruiter and he told me that there are only 15 slots for medsurg? Have they changed it again? I mean 30 is better than 15.
  15. Hi, I am also applying for 2016 boards. I am applying FQ med-surg nurse. I'm getting my BSN this coming December and I can't wait. I am super excited.
