Hi are you leaving for COT too?
Well I thought I replied to individual posts. Anyways, can anyone let me know if you are leaving for COT for May 23rd? I have questions!

Why did you separate? Did you do med surg before deployment or after? What was officer training like? I am a telemetry nurse with a BSN and biology degree. I have been working for 3 years and I am also a travel nurse. Would I have a hard time getting in? Can you give pros and cons. THanks so much

Hi Linds28,
I'm in the process of applying for flight nursing at Scott AFB also! There have been some hiccups with paperwork but I think I'm finally in the home stretch. At this point my recruiter says everything has been submitted and I'm just waiting to be accepted. (Which he says is different for reserves since there isn't a board that meets). I still have to do my flying class 3 physical but he says that based on my MEPS scores I should do just fine. I've been doing as much research as possible and watching all the YouTube videos I can find to prepare for COT, when that happens.
I was was wondering if you could shed some light on COT, tips/tricks, etc. Also, I was wondering how things are going on base thus far, if you've started. And all of the other training we have to do, I.e. flight school, water survival, evasion/conduct after capture, etc.
I would have PM'd you but I haven't been a member long enough. Thanks for any info you can pass my way and I look forward to hearing back from you!
