Aiken Tech Fall 2014 hopefuls!!

Has anyone applied for the ADN program at Aiken Tech? I know the deadline for applications isn't until May 30th but I have had my paperwork ready and submitted it today and the suspense is killing me ALREADY!! Just wanted to see if anyone else was waiting to get in and wanted to see how many points others had, their GPA and teas scores.

Hey guys I just printed out the application and I'm about to start filling it out! For parts 2, 3 and 4 where it asks for our gpa and TEAS score...are we supposed to fill this info in ourselves or will they write it in after receiving the application and transcript?

I think that we have to fill it out, if you have multiple transcripts you may want to ask someone in enrollment how to determine your GPA. If you only have one, then use that GPA. You'll get a print out with your TEAS scores after you take the exams.

I've taken the required prerequisites, but I took them at Augusta Tech. The anatomy and physiology class is considered 2 classes over there so you get a separate grade for lab and lecture. I got a B in lab but a C in lecture so the advisor at aiken said they may look at it as I have a C overall which would give me 19 points instead of 24. I wouldn't be able to retake anatomy & physiology 1 until Fall since I'm about to have a baby in less than 3 weeks.

Nickh, did you ever figure out if a print out of an unofficial transcript off of web advisor would do?

Yeah, my advisor responded to my email and said that for the unofficial transcript the print out off of WebAdvisor was what they are looking for.

One week left for the application deadline! It's getting close. How's everyone doing?

Doing good here just waiting on the deadline to apply to come so that I am a little closer to when I will check my mail box EVERYDAY and not care about anything other than what comes from ATC. LOL. How are you doing Nickh?
