I am struggling with finding job. I came across one agency that offer New Grad program if I pay for $4000. The new grad would be in aged care facilities not in hospital. I am local, not international.

What do you think? AND

If I accept, Do I have to record talking with the agency?

Any legal problems?

Thanks.

Are the agencies attached to a education supplier for example: a private tafe, that has nursing courses?

Just checked the homepage.

They doesn't seem to education supplier.

@ceridwyn , if you dont mind, can I page or email you to send the info?

Specializes in family practice.

What I can't understand is , if you already paid one agency for training, why would you want to pay another double or triple the amount for the same thing? What if this second agency is just the same, you will be out a lot of money.

I say keep searching or relocate. You will find a job.

Yes, I decided wrong paid $1xxx for training. At that time, I felt like hold anything to get experience. That's my fault.

BUT the agency was introduced by uni clinical website and the boss knows our professor this makes me trust them...

Specializes in Surg- PACU/Anaes.

Have you tried applying directly to nursing homes, or aged care/dementia settings in your area? They usually have a high turnover and are happy to take on grads.

All these 'pay to get experience' sounds real dodgy to me...

Was it a university or a private education provider that advertised this agency.

Some people refer to the private tafes as universities when they are not.

Seems totally against a university protocol. Just tell me on here if it was a private education tafe or a public full blown university that would put this agency advertising graduate years. You cannot send private messages on here? have you posted 15 times yet?
