Your patient don't want to have medication, then you can advocate him not giving medication. Sometimes they force to give but respect pt's will.

I am 39 yr old and start with first year of RN. Half of my classmates are mature ages. In may case, I might not finish if I study in young age. Nursing needs lots of commitment and responsibilities. Thus mature ages could cover it up better than the young.

I am local. Yes, they offer nursing home, not hospital. They may have some connections with nursing homes. Yes, I revised my CV with Uni career centre and have applied numerous positions. I am collecting centrelink benefits (newstart allowance) and currently working as RN in agency. BUT agency doesn't give shift much and they cancel in the last minute. This week they cancel all two shift (this is allI received from them). I tell them numerous times to have shift... The more upset me is I paid $1XXX the agency for training. (This agency is different one) You might remember what I posted before... The more shocking thing is those two agencies are advertised Uni clinical website ! (it is internal, only for Uni staff and students!) ...Shame....

Hi, I newly joined in agency and have really concern. They give me few shifts and cancel it in last minute!! Today it happened again... Is this things common? I am really frustrated and have difficulties with financial issue.. Please any comments..

I really want to work but hard to get job. It is not for job but for training they said, BUY it sound like fee. The structure is, I pay $4000, They training for a while Then give me shift after one year then they give new grad cert. I am really concerning.... if it is not illegal, I want to do it...

I am struggling with finding job. I came across one agency that offer New Grad program if I pay for $4000. The new grad would be in aged care facilities not in hospital. I am local, not international. What do you think? AND If I accept, Do I have to record talking with the agency? Any legal problems? Thanks.

Hi, I recently joined NNA but not enough shifts. They only give 2 shifts a week. I asked for more but no more given. Do you know why? Maybe I am new grad RN? I am really curious anyone receiving enough shifts which are they want.
