I know Favorite Nurses has traveling LPNs. Check them out. I applied on-line a few years ago and am still working with them. Good Luck. Cathy

i have worked only agenices so far and i really like working for them. i really the places i was assign to. but i felt that they favor their clientis and listen to their clients more then their own staff. just like the other post says check out more than one.

As an LPN- I have worked for Maxim in Canton, OH and signed with MSN out of Akron. Loved Maxim- never took a single call from MSN.They would call for shifts I had already taken with Maxim or call for something way far out of my area. I actually work for Maxim doing homecare now.

I have found that Maxim is the agency that treats me the best. I have great schedulers and they make me feel like I am valued as an employee. That is something that I think is key in choosing an agency.

Hey All,
I've worked for a few agencies in MD. Check out Ascerta Health Staffing at ascertahealth.com. Great people, very responsive, good rates, knowledgable about the current market and the industry overall. They offer an easy online application process too. Best of luck to all!

CALIFORNIA AGENCY!
I am considering to start working for an agency called Medi-Lend Nursing Services based in Oakland, CA... They do however staff in southern CA aswell(RN, LVN, CNA's) out of Long Beach, UCLA, USC etc. I have not started working for them so I cannot give you more details yet.
I was actually wondering if anyone has heard of them(MEDI LEND). They offer great pay. $600 for a 12 hour shift, and double time after 12. The best part is that half that income is not taxable since they pay it as a housing fund... If anyone has heard of them pls give me some feedback.
