Hello everyone and Suzanne4

I called the California Board of Nursing this morning and found that they finally processed my transcript. I immediately went to the CA BRN website and found my name there with a license number. I used Kaplan trainer CD, Saunder CD, Learning extension Website and Suzanne's study plan. I had 75 questions. Thanks everyone for you support and especially Suzanne.

Hi Pocamom.

Thanks for being my NCLEX online buddy. We did it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats Jake, Gives me hope as I have been waiting since the 1/30. Question. Did you receive any pamphlets for review material through the mail during your results wait?? Because I just received a review course pamphlet from some school through the mail today. \I'm starting to think that I may have not passed.

No I didn't recieved any review materials while I waited for the results.

The average time for results in CA seems to be 2-3 weeks

Ahhh, well I hope its not a precursor to getting bad news from the Ca-BRN through the mail.

Nothing to worry about. The BRN sells name lists of applicants for the exam, not specifically those that do not pass. Just depends on when your papers get processed, as to if you will get the mail.

great news, thanks for letting us know............

and now maybe others will believe me when i tell them that the average wait time is closer to two weeks for most, and not the three to four days..........

Congrats on being a new RN!!!

Congrats.

You think 3 weeks is a long time?

Try 2 months to take the exam (paper not CAT) and 3 MONTHS to wait for a result. I was a GN from graduation in May until almost Oct.

The CAT (computer adaptive test) NCLEX is both a curse and a blessing.

Blessing because you can get your results quickly.

~faith,

Timothy.
