After two years of waiting...

I finally got accepted in to Nursing School!!

I have been appling for 2 years and all this time I have been hoping that there would be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Now it seems that I have finally received my good Karma.

I just wanted to say to those that were not accepted for the following semester, please remember that patience may be painful but good things do happen !

GREAT ! Congrats...I got Accepted into an LPN program, but I'm waiting to hear back from 2 RN programs...my stomach has been in knots for a month and a half.

Same here Vixen, with the exception of me being admitted to the LPN program. I know I will get accpeted because I have all the points for it. I am still waiting to hear from the two RN programs I applied to, wont know anything until June and July. So good luck to us!!!!

I have not received my acceptance letter but I did talk to my advisor today. It was the last day to add any points like from CNA certification or the pharmacy tech program to our points. She told me I was number 17 on the list and they take 40 so she assured me that I was in.There are 4 more people who were taking the tease today but even if they get in Istill will be high enough on the list to get in. It has also taken me two years to get in but all of my pre req's plus a Associates degree in Medical assistance and my CNA have been done while waiting. I am so excited I can hardly believe it. I am going into the LPN program and bridge over to the RN it is the easiest way at VGCC but it is still very competitive. I am 39 years old and bound and determined to be an RN which has been my dream since I was twelve years old. Things just happened and I gave up but now I have my mind as well as my heart set on becoming a Nurse. I just can not wait until I get my acceptance letter so it will be final. I should get it in about a week. So every one pray for me and hopefully she was not just pulling my leg but I do not think she would do that because last year at this time I knew I was not going to get in and I was really heart broken. So everyone who is still waiting don't give up I know you get discourage but if you really want it and are willing to wait you will get in. If not this time just keep your heas held high and keep on trying to you finally succeed. I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:yeah::):anpom:see how excited I am!!!!!!!!!!!
