Hi everyone,I have read many of the posts here and did get alot of valuable information. Thanks for that. I applied last month to the AF, well I submitted my application to my recruiter. I have all my med docs in order and ready to mail them to her. I won't graduate until August with my masters and won't go until then. My recruiter knows this too. I have not been to MEPS yet but she said I needed to have all my stuff done soon so she can submit my package to the board at the end of September. From all that I have read, I understand that things don't move this fast right? Is she just trying to get me to get all the paperwork, interview,MEPS all done so I can wait around? Im confused. I don't understand why she is trying to get my package in so soon. Is it a year wait once the board selects you? thanks

Your recruiter is probably trying to make sure you don't have to wait a long time before finding out if you're selected.
razorshark 36 Posts Aug 23, 2011 Applications are due 27 SEP. The next due date is JAN 2012...and there may not any slots available my then. So yes, listen to your recruiter and get your application in ASAP. Then, you wait for a seat to open up at COT that fits your grad schedule.v/rSharky

kelzerize 14 Posts Aug 24, 2011 LOL because this lady sounds all too familiar. I applied two years ago for AF through the Los Angeles recruitor, and was ultimately denied for the mild psoriasis at MEPS. But I was at a point working full time as a CNA, my last semester of nursing school, AND getting all of the application stuff together for AF. and it's the military so she could have cared less. oh she was pushy. keep going though. it was not fun at the time.
