Hi everyone!!!
I am about to enroll in school to pursue my BSN degree. I currently have a BBA. I am wanting to get out of my current job and find something to get my foot into the healthcare area. I don't currently have any experience but I really want o get started early. Does anyone have any suggestions of some areas that I could work in that don't require a lot of healthcare experience?

i think working as a cna would be a wonderful experience(certified nursing assistant). you can be trained through nursing homes for free!, your local red cross, or private schools. i was trained through a private school and learned alot. or course theres other things you can do to get experience like volunteer work, medical assistant, er tech etc. there is stuff put there. good luck i hope you find something that works for you

If a Certified Nursing Assistant position is not for you ... most hospitals have lots of other types of jobs doing clerical work, etc. Depending on your background, you might be able to find a good fit that would build on your previous experiences and not require you to take a huge pay cut. Just being in the hospital environment might be a help.
