Advice? Good places to post resume's?

Published

I have previously worked in a many different clinical settings, on the very bottom of the totem pole. I applied for PA school and got it but decided to take a year to decide if that is really what I feel called to. I am pursuing other job opportunities in the mean time, still involved in health care but I still have so many questions. Many of them follow below. Answers/ opinions on any of them would be so helpful and appreciated in helping me find my way in Health Care.

1. Has anyone had a good experience or know of a site with a good track record to post a resume?

2. How do you deal with / go about changing jobs, finding good jobs within health care?

( I ask this because I have seen so many nurses, PA's and CNP's very unhappy but that continue to plug away at the job, and that attitude just rubs off on and effects the entire work environment)

3. What are opinions on recruiters and when and if to use them, things to look out for and how to know if they are genuinely good or just out for the money?

4. What is the best way to find good jobs - places where I would want to work, good work environment, good attitudes?

Thank you so much to anyone who responds, starting off is so hard.

I was hoping someone would give us good advice here, these are great questions that I'm diing to get answers to!

Chelsea, have you found any good resume posting sites for RNs? Would you please share with us answers to any of your own questions? What resources have you been using since your post?

Thanks and good luck to you.

Moved to Nursing Resume Help for more response. The original post is 4 years old so I doubt that member will return to respond, but perhaps others will offer helpful advice.

Hello, on Allnurses, go to the jobs, there would be some good choice, and i don't know much about this in your country, but in China, we can go to the professional job offer web to post the resume, since this would save you a lot time ,or you can post your information on the job searching newpaper.

You know this is the common way, seems cliche .

but try to post on your professional web.

good luck!
